Who runs the Agordino for the first time or by custom, is naturally led to lay eyes on the beautiful landscape that surrounds and that is characterized both by the natural beauty of the area that the wise man who changes over time has been able to operate. The

Agordino, open-air museum, is the result of a long process of interaction between the mountains, full of colors and shapes and the work of secular conduct transformation from man to make it livable.

This combination is enhanced in design man-made forests and villages and is a practical application in churches and museums that tell the story of the "vile" and countries.

So early in the third millennium, tourism, which is the natural vocation Agordino embraces the dimension of sustainability that comes from the exploitation of those realities which, placed in the system, form the heart of the Dolomites.

With this small but significant publication, so we wanted to pay tribute to the history of our country and our civilization Alpine, expanding the horizon, with an eye for villagers and tourists to the local culture of this valuable space universe-which is the Agordino.

Publication want to be just a first step in a much broader collection of content and themes on this earth that want to tackle head on the challenges of the future, certain that the path of sustainable tourism, especially in light of the recent UNESCO recognition, both the highway to go.
